An Ordinance granting provisional franchise or Motorized Tricycle Operators Permit (MTOP) to two (2) renewal applicants to operate in the territorial jurisdiction of the Municipality of Tangalan.
The Committee on Transportation and Communication conducted committee meeting on the above-mention ordinance together with:

The Honorable Peter A. Ascaño presented through a power point presentation the Provisional Authority for Motor Cycle for Hire-Service and explained each section one by one so that the operator is reminded and aware of his/her obligations. Also, the committee concern discussed the Municipal Ordinance No. 2022- 205; Prescribing the rate of Tricycle Fares within the Municipality of Tangalan, Aklan and Providing penalties for violation thereof and Municipal Ordinance No. 2020- 140 An Ordinance enacting the Tangalan, Aklan Public Safety, Security, Peace and Order Code of 2020 specifically section 69. Color Coding of Tricycle for Hire. Also the committee require all tricycle operator/driver to have their own trashbin inside their unit. The committee answered all the inquiries coming from the operators.
The Committee on Transportation and Communication inspected the two (2) tricycle units. The Committee found out that:
1. All signal lights — Functioning
2. Head light (hi and low) —- Functioning
3. Tail light —- Functioning
4. Brake light —- Functioning
5. Side car —- Serviceable
6. Side Mirror —- Functioning
7. Driver’s License —- Valid
8. Horn —- Functioning
RECOMMENDATION:
Therefore, the committee recommend and moved that An Ordinance granting provisional franchise or Motorized Tricycle Operators Permit (MTOP) two (2) renewals to operate in the territorial jurisdiction of the Municipality of Tangalan, namely:
1. Clarissa Shieroll Tandas Baybay-Dapdap Renewal
2. Marivic L. Toriaga Afga-Poblacion Renewal
be approved.
