The LLA recognizes the exemplary performance of city and municipal sanggunians for legislating measures that help build the foundation of meaningful local administration and development. The Sangguniang Bayan of Tangalan is the only 4th-6th class municipality in Aklan to have qualified for the regional assessment which is a testament to its exemplary performance.
